Brilliant Earth Style Challenge

Brilliant Earth, an ethical sourcing, precious metal recycling, fine jewelry company asked me to take part in their personality style challenge and when I saw their baubles I couldn’t wait. Basically, I was to take a look at the amazing jewels in their personality categories and style one of the “style personalities” in my own way. I chose the glamorous girl because, well… I relate the most to that category.

What I love about Brilliant Earth is that they are more than just talk- a lot of companies claim that they give back or that they source from ethical locations but that’s all the “proof” you can find; however, Brilliant Earth has pages of information, maps of sourcing locations and are forthcoming with exactly how much of their profits (5%) they return to help communities harmed by the jewelry industry to build a brighter future. “We support initiatives that are designed to improve livelihoods, prevent abuses, protect the environment, and empower communities. Promoting growth in mining communities is a fundamental aspect of our mission. When you choose ethical fine jewelry from Brilliant Earth, you are giving back to communities in need.”

Sometimes when you think of earth friendly or ethically sourced you may think the quality will be less “brilliant”, less sparkly, more granola, I hope you get what I’m trying to say- but Brilliant Earth’s gems and diamonds are so sparkly, so clean and bright that there really is no reason to buy conflict diamonds.

I learned a lot actually by working with Brilliant Earth and I hope you have now too- I also hope you like my outfit set!

P.S. According to Brilliant Earth’s style personality profiles, what kind of girl are you?

With love from Hollywood,
Kier
