What to wear to the US Open

Roger and I snuck away from the city to watch some tennis and I learned what to wear to the US open! Apparently people also play tennis while on the grounds of the US Open so Roger said a tennis outfit was totally appropriate and it was. Some people were dressed pretty casual in shorts and sneakers but with a somewhat uniform look, most were dressed as if they were going to a golf course in collared shirts and skirts or slacks and visors. I added my new favorite wedge sneakers by PUMA (Out in stores October 1st, or BUY HERE) to my outfit and got a lot of compliments and by the way, they are incredibly comfy! By the evening it got a little cold so we went to the gift shop to get me a jacket, this pink one was a cute addition and matched the shoes, so even though it was in the little girls section (on the mannequin 20ft in the air as it was the last XL) I had to have it!

We got to see Serena Williams kick butt in singles and Venus and Serena play very hard but were ultimately defeated in doubles. I’d never been to a tennis match before so it was a really fun experience, especially because I got to see world champions and not just random people I’d never heard of.. Thank you Roger for an amazing day!
