The Houndstooth Poncho

So I got this houndstooth poncho thing at Value Village last xmas and for only $4.99 it was a score… especially since it’s cashmere and made in Italy.. anyway, I hadn’t worn it yet, and it was coming up on a year, and if I buy something and don’t wear it in a year, it’s time to threadflip that ish. Buttttt….. then all hail pinterest… I saw this pin, and I was inspired.. or should I say ‘pinspired’. Not only was this super comfy and warm, but I got a lot of compliments which is always nice!!

Anyway, I have so much to do for thanksgiving tomorrow, and I haven’t even picked out what I’m going to be wearing.. which is tricky, because we are hosting.. so it needs to be comfy enough to cook and entertain in, but chic enough that I feel comfortable because, if it’s not chic and enviable I won’t be happy.. Also, if you’re thinking, “is her hair even lighter?” the answer is again, yes! Round three down, and another highlight on Dec. 1st!

I am so grateful for all of you who read this blog, and expecially those of you who have sent it to, and shared it with friends and family, It’s grown so fast and I have all of you amazing followers and supporters to thank, so from the bottom of my heart, Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!

  11. Kier, the poncho was a real bargain, it looks wonderful on you ! I love houndstooth and also did a few post about this trend, but usually I see it in black and white, this color combo makes it even more interesting and sophisticated ! The whole look is very chic and you are stunning. I am so in love with your hair ! Totally gorgeous pics !
