Last Thursday was my first day back in Los Angeles. I attended Fashion For Breakfast at Cecconi’s hosted by Taye from StuffSheLikes.Net that morning and this was what I wore. I just felt like “Yes! I’m finally back in Los Angeles! I can wear a crop top and a short skirt and high heels!” So I did. Dress how you want to, and fuck everyone else.

Fashion for Breakfast is a cool concept, and I’d never been before so I was excited to jump right back into the swing of things, go to an event- use my jet lag for good and see everyone I hadn’t seen in so long. I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb in NYC and could never wear this there, I know I still stick out in LA, but at least a lot of other people do too. The room was full of statement making pieces from a modern art printed dress, to a few really cool jumpers.. I wasn’t the only one standing out, which was so refreshing from the staunch east coasters.
