Carrie Bradshaw Style

I know this look is a little overkill with the matchy-matchy thing, but it SO reminds me of Sex and the City, which should remind us all to just have fun with fashion! The whole point of fashion is to be able to express ourselves, to show the world who we are, and who we want to be perceived as. Sometimes I see old ladies out in Hollywood and on Advanced Style, (one of my favorite blogs)¬†all dressed up, matching their orange pants to their orange lipstick to their orange nail polish and I just don’t want to have to wait until I’m a little old lady to dress how I want, matchy-matchy or not.
I love this dress! I got it at the Goodwill for $5.99 and every time I wear it, I get so many compliments. It’s a little sheer so I have to wear a little champagne colored tank top dress underneath (I think you can see it peeking out in a couple photos) but, it’s fabulous, don’t you think?
I wore this outfit shopping with my dog Vivian to one of my favorite vintage stores called¬†Wasteland¬†(hence the Wasteland bag and shopping drink, um, I mean, energy drink).¬†I got two amazing NEW pairs of shoes and a vintage Dooney & Burke bag. I’m obsessed. Here are the new shoes courtesy of my Instagram, follow me here to stay updated!!
