What to wear on Halloween

If you work in an office or simply don’t want to wear your costume during the daytime while running errands, I think this is a great “what to wear on halloween” look. As you may know I love to dress pretty theme-y and I always remembered my teachers dressing for halloween, not in costume, but in terrible sequin pumpkin or ghost sweaters, with awful tacky spider earrings… that may work for an elementary school teacher, but for the modern woman I am, I had something a little different in mind. A couple of things that I think make this work is that the orange blazer isn’t pumpkin orange, it’s more of an apricot color so it’s not an eyesore. Pinstripes add interest and a slight couture element and leather pants and details feel extremely current. One thing I would like to mention about leather pants during the day though: looser is better. Super tight leather can look tacky and cheap, so go with a more relaxed fit and keep it loose up top. This rule also applies to metallic pants. Happy Halloween.

P.S. With this outfit, some spider earrings might not be so bad ;)

With love from Hollywood,
Kier

  1. Great outfit for Halloween! Spider earrings would really work with this too. I get what you mean with finding something office appropriate. I dressed up as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s and when I didn’t have my coffee cup, sunglasses, or cigarette holder, I passed as being dressed normal.
