So, on April 4th, I had a very cool Political Rally to attend, and I wanted to look my best and look event appropriate; so I went with a mix of polished, conservative, and me- which tends to be a little theme-y and a hint unexpected! The theme part of me went with red white and blue of course, but for me, red white and blue meant red leather pants, a white peplum sleeveless blouse and blue patent leather pumps.. and I thought with my big bun, pearl necklace, and red lips that I channelled a First Lady-esqness ;). Since the candidate I support is all about individual liberty and freedom, I named this outfit “Free Style”. ¬†It can be easy to forget how lucky we are as American women to be able to dress and express ourselves, and¬†I may have been the only person there wearing red leather pants as a statement for the freedom we have, or even at all, but I think I pulled it off, what do you think?
