LA for the Weekend:

Jacques and I traveled to LA for the weekend to see Taylor Swift perform at the Rose Bowl. It was an epic show, I cried, danced, laughed, screamed and just loved every minute of it. Since my good friend Elizabeth lives so near the venue she and her fiance graciously invited us to stay with them. I understand now why they call the Rose Bowl “The Rose Bowl”. The roses were in bloom everywhere one looked! It was how I imagine the English countryside would be.

We hit The Grove quickly so I could pick up the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder that everyone RAVES about and so far, I can see why! I’m obsessed with using it to set under my eyes and it’s not as expensive as I thought it would be (under $40). After shopping, we had lunch at Cafe Midi and then also found a new little French Cafe nearby on La Brea. If you’re in LA, make sure you stop by La Tropezienne and get a croissant or two. I wore this little belted bell-sleeve dress I picked up from Forever21.com. I’ve also seen it in pink on another retailer’s site so I linked both for you below. Photos thanks to Jacques Theraube.
