Friday Favorites..

1. This article about things your mother never told you… I used to not want to be a mom until my first nephew was born then it all changed. I personally feel that being a mother is the meaning of life. There are so many things you can never understand about life until you give it. I want to be a mother but not until I get all my ducks in a row. I need to build my company and learn how to keep my laundry pile under control. I want to be a better communicator and better with money. I feel like motherhood is a reward for the work I’m putting in now to be a better person, to be the woman I want to be. The incentive of having children for me is incredibly powerful and pushes me whenever I’m losing my temper to remain calm so that one day I can be a good example for my children.

2. The Blank Space music Video….. Mind= Blown. I’m obsessed with Taylor swift, she has an amazing work ethic and creative mind. I’ve never been more proud to be born in 1989. I want to wear everything she wears in this video.. I especially want to recreate the little outfit she wears while on the picnic.. A favorite line is “Cuz darling I’m a nightmare dressed like a daydream.”

3. Episode 2 of House of DVF. I laughed a lot… I think you have to know me to get me.. most people I meet, whether it be a new job, new school or whatever don’t like me all that much… But, once they get to know me, they love me.. I grow on people. I’m like a fungus. ;)

4. My nephew Jaxsen is the best! We are so similar it’s weird. He is at the stage where he likes to ask “What are you doing” constantly. So while doing my makeup I explained every step and each step he responded with “I want some.” So I kind of, sort of, did his makeup… he is 3… it was fun. I love all my nephews but we just get each other on another level.

5. The fact that the main bully of mine in high school showed up at DVF Bellevue Square last night for DVF’s book signing that I attended. -Cut to the song “Gives You Hell” by All American Rejects.
