As I said in my last post, I’m not a huge fan of red, so I substituted it for the color watermelon, which is perfect because watermelon is also synonymous with The Fourth of July. The shoes match perfectly, and I think the geometric and symmetrical lines look like fireworks! I think this look is perfect for a BBQ (at least in LA), Just make sure you watch your heels in the deck! I’ve been stuck between boards and it’s not a good look! White wedges or sandals could work too if you don’t live somewhere that it’s always acceptable to wear heels, or if you’re going to be on a stated deck or lawn!
