The Bass Ball in Alyce Paris:
In December, my friend Ariel invited Jacques and me to be her guests at The Bass Ball and of course, we were thrilled! The event was presented by CHANEL and meant to benefit the Bass’ exhibitions and programs. Encouraged to “Come As You Art” and inspired by the cosmic-themed invitation I knew this astrologically whimsical gown from Alyce Paris was perfect.
Headdresses are a common accessory at the annual Bass Ball and I wanted to don one as well. Unfortunately, my headdress fell through so I had to improvise with a battery powered string of LED lights and a lot of bobby pins. I think it turned out rather pretty though and I gained many compliments on my up-do.
