New Years Eve…

For new years eve I opt for an outfit I put together myself with my favorite pieces because if one goes out and buys a new dress, I bet you anything, someone, wherever you go, will have the same dress and I absolutely abhor that. So I chose a sexy sheer shirt (that’s on sale for like $10 here), a perfect mini skirt that I can wear for hours and hours, and grey accents topped with a fur coat (purchased at the Studio City Wasteland). I love the tights and socks for layers that add interest and keep you warm all night long- even while watching fireworks out on the balcony. I also recommend wearing cheap earrings, because once you start drinking, it’s easy to loose an earring and you don’t want them to be nice enough to ruin your night.

P.S. I’ve recently discovered Stila One Step Prime in Kitten- it’s an eye lip and check primer and I love it around my eyes. I have genetically dark under eye circles and this light reflective cream covers them, and keeps my eyeshadows and liners in place- I couldn’t find a link for it, but if you see it, get it! (closest I could find- but not the color I’ve tried here)

    I wish I had gone out to some place where I could really dress up, but since it wasn’t quite the case I kept it simple and in the end forgot to take any pictures… apparently, Champagne can do that!

  11. I LOVE what you put together and I agree… if you run out and buy a new dress someone else probably has it :) But I did that… although it was on clearance. It ended up that I matched the theme of the place we went: red dresses with open backs! So I could have been a waitress that night lol
