New in New York: Parfums De Marly

If you’re in New York anytime soon and in the market for a new fragrance, you must stop by Parfums De Marly in Meatpacking. They’re celebrating the release of their newest fragrance: Delina Exclusif. Jacques and I popped in to see the space and of course smell some perfume. All their fragrances are made with natural scents, oils and essences, never synthetic. Several of their scents are unisex and with their vast selection, everyone is sure to find one they love.

I especially love to shop for a fragrance with my lover because there is something very sensual about it. The way you smell to your partner can have an immense impact, either positive or negative. Shopping for a scent is, of course, personal, but you want the one you love to enjoy it too after all. Scent is one of the most powerful forces. Instantly a smell can transport you to another time, another place, or another person. Your smell can attract or repell people and I want to always attract my love to me. I know when I put on the perfume we chose, Jacques will instantly be drawn to me. We will be reminded of this perfect morning, both drenched in Herod, one of Parfums De Marly‘s unisex fragrances, twirling and kissing at sunrise, all alone on the bridge, overlooking the city together, in love.
