Komaneka at Bisma Review:
While in Ubud we stayed at the Komaneka Bisma. We were greeted with welcome drinks and checked into room 109. Of course, the first thing you see is the gorgeous view. With our own infinity pool overlooking the jungle, it was like a dream come true. And because it was our last stop and had total privacy, I was able to even out my tan lines and sunbath naked!
The entire property was so ethereal with little surprises everywhere like these hammocks we stumbled upon while exploring. The main building also has a huge infinity pool and I can’t get enough of all the umbrellas in a row. Unfortunately, the rice terraces on-property were being seeded so they didn’t really look pretty during our visit. But, there was plenty to explore, I could see how they’d have a lot of weddings there. It was absolutely magnificent.
Unique touches like a flower bath waiting for us and cookie jar made the stay so special. I also enjoyed the fact that there was a lot of space for suitcases. If you can imagine, we accumulated a lot of luggage by the end of our three-week trip! (Did I mention we shopped a lot in Hong Kong and Seminyak?)
The only thing I’d say they could improve was the private pool and deck. The pool needed to be regrouted badly and the deck had some nails starting to creep up out of the wood. All in all though, who complains about a private pool lol, I am just grateful we had one!
Thank you for reading! Do you like hammocks or find them to be uncomfortable?
