Mark and Estel had so much 90’s meets 70’s. In case you aren’t familiar with the company, all of their clothes are hand-made in the USA and made to order. Designs are purposefully made to look and feel like that perfect old t-shirt that took you years to achieve its ripe age. M&E take pride in their creations and believe that they will set you apart from the crowd and make you a fashion leader. “Wear it…love it…live it.. xx M&E”
The collection was saturated in (70’s) glam-rock meets (90’s) grunge, and I loved it! There were feminine silhouettes, platforms, and voluminous hair combined with velvet, silk and lace… it channeled an Alexander McQueen vibe.
I hated a plaid, lace, leotard, it was not my style… but I loved a white school girl skirt with a white silk top adorned with lips, all the flared pants, the subtle Parisian vibe and the continuation of high/ low hems, not to mention the closing rock show put on by the designers following the runway show, it was a blast, I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling- my NYFW recap video will be up soon with clips of this!!
Love these photos! I wish I could have stopped by NYFW this year, especially since I’m so close to NY.
