A jug fills drop by drop. – Buddha

I wore this look to the Elle Magazine, Wella Professionals and Salon Eleven event last week downtown LA and this cool street art of a Buddha was adorning the building across the street. The event was very well done and I was one of several awesome bloggers to co-host it. A Manicure station, Prosecco, gift bags, and complementary consultations & free bang trims took place. The weather was lovely and the crowd was bubbling onto the sidewalk of Downtown LA. My mom actually got a bang trim and a found a new stylist while I chatted with Laura, Elizabeth and Rachel. Check out my first IG video of the event here.. Great job to Elle MagazineWella Professionals and Salon Eleven and thank you Canopi for connecting me with these awesome companies for this event.

How beautiful is this set by Capwell? I’ve always loved the unique nature of Turquoise and dressing it up by adding glass rhinestones was genius in my mind. The bag, which perfectly matches this jewelry set, is by Diversa Unica. The classic and fun genuine leather clutch was a gift from my friend Linda who used to hand make these bags in New York. I am obsessed with the lining she used, different on both sides, an intense tiger and richly colored orchids guard my belongings. Linda knows her stuff; she actually has a blog coming out soon and she interview me about my favorite new accessories of the season- so stay tuned.

This event to promote the fabulous small business Salon Eleven, Capwell + Co Jewelry which is still in start up, and Linda’s line Diversa Unica – which, although is no longer in production, remind me of how every step of the way leads to your goal. I am enjoying and loving blogging. Am I as far as I’ve like to be? No. Does that bother me sometimes? Yes. But, I’ know patience is a virtue (one that I’m working on) and hard work will be what takes my blog to the next level. I love that I took these photos in front of this Buddha to remind me that “A jug fills drop by drop.” Every post, every photo shoot and every event is an amazing opportunity. So thank you to all my readers, pinners, partners, Roger, my family, and any friends who have taken my photos, come to my events, or let me borrow something, you have no idea what it means to me. (I’m feeling a little extra sentimental today.) Xo.

With love from Hollywood,
