The Marilyn Dress

IMG_3710On Tuesday Roger took me to see Wicked for the first time and I fell in love with it, the woman who played Elphaba was incredible!!! Funnily enough I wasn’t sold on the story until after intermission, but then I loved it so much! My dress got a little wrinkled, but this is real life, it happens! I wore the Marilyn dress by Maison de Papillon. I love that their pieces go from sheet-to-street and back again.. Think about it, if you are traveling and you pack their silk blouse, you may wear it with a pencil skirt, or some work slacks and pumps to a meeting.. later that night you can pair it with a mini or skinny jeans and open sandals, then finally some silky shorts or Pj pants; your  blouse has been worn thrice, (I love that word) all while being chic, classic, comfy, luxurious, beautifully flattering and saving room in your suitcase! I paired my silky dress with a perfect croc embossed silver and gold clutch from F&W Style, and my silver Stuart Weitzman heels!

Thank you for reading!

With love from Hollywood,
Kier

  1. This dress is so sultry! Love it :) I’ve never seen Wicked but it is certainly on my list! I just created a new blog, and although I don’t have much up yet, I’d love it if you stopped by sometime (:
