The LWD Little White Dress

Couple of things I want to mention.. I don’t think I mentioned last time I wore this LWD little white dress that I modeled for this company (as seen below). The owner was so sweet, she gave it to me in both colors, however the black is too big, so I sadly never get to wear it. She accidentally gave me a size medium, as well as listed on the site (clickable above). I am actually a small, which I think they are sold out of now. But I love this dress and I always get a ton of compliments on it. I’m not sure if you can tell, but the back straps are faux leather- so ‘in’ right now.

The Sunset Tower Hotel

Also, I want to mention this fabulous “fancy lunch” Roger and I had. We went to one of my favorite spots for brunch. The Sunset Tower Hotel has a fabulous poolside restaurant with a view “The Terrace” has amazing food, and fabulous service. The historical building is gorgeous and every time I’ve ever been, I’ve seen a celebrity… every single time. In fact this landmark has housed¬†legends such as¬†Howard Hughes, John Wayne, Billie Burke, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Frank Sinatra- just to name a few.¬†The hotel’s¬†website describes it as combining modern convenience with old world¬†charm” and¬†I couldn’t agree more. It’s like an oasis in West Hollywood, it’s quiet, unassuming, beautiful, and gracious. The only kind-of sad part about going there for lunch or brunch, is that they have lounge chairs around the pool, but they are only for Hotel guests… If I could stay there and sunbathe all day, I would have. And Every time I go, I want to stay and lounge..¬†
I lastly want to mention, I got an email asking why all my reviews of venues are “always soo positive” and wondering if I get paid to say nice things about these places. I can honestly say these are my genuine opinions and I haven’t been compensated in any way. The only reason I usually say that they are so good, is because I, like most people, often go to places I already know I like. When I do try somewhere new and if/when said place isn’t great, I will let you know about that too. I promise.¬†
PS. The sorbet pictured was lime and mango mixed together, the mango would have been a tiny bit too sweet on it’s own, and the lime sorbet’s texture was more like an icee.. but mixed together they were incredible and balanced each other out. Plus, The two next to each other totally matched my outfit! Did you notice that?
With love from Hollywood,

  1. That white dress looks so pretty on you, Kier! And seriously, you do always go to the most fabulous places! I remember when I first moved to LA I was out and about all the time at places like that…sometimes I wonder what happened?!? LOL, I guess that’s what happens when you get married…kidding. I try to make it a point to still go out, just not every night like I used to. ;)
And thank you so much for the well-wishes tomorrow- you are SO SWEET! The ice cream sounds fabulous- I actually already stocked my freezer full of it today! :)
